Privacy Policy for GeoScratch

Koneckta (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the GeoScratch mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.

GeoScratch does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

GeoScratch does not require registration, sign-in, or any personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the core features of the App.

If you choose to contact us for support or feedback (e.g. via the in-app feedback button, which opens your device’s email app), any information you include in that message — such as your email address — is provided voluntarily by you and used only to respond to your inquiry.

Information Collected Automatically

Locally on your device: The App stores certain information directly on your device, such as your daily streak count, which facts you have already seen, and app preferences. This data is not transmitted to us and stays on your device unless you delete the App.

Advertising data: GeoScratch displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain technical and usage information to serve and measure ads, which may include:

• Device identifiers (such as your device’s advertising ID)
• General device information (device type, operating system version)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and ad performance)

This data collection and use is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

On iOS, the App requests permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing your device’s advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can allow or deny this request, and can change your choice at any time in your device’s Settings.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

If GeoScratch offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, these are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase status is verified through Apple’s and Google’s platforms, and (if used) through RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to determine your entitlement to premium features. How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above to:

• Operate and maintain the App’s core features (streaks, daily content, unlocked facts)
• Display and measure advertising through AdMob
• Verify purchases and manage subscription entitlements, if applicable
• Respond to feedback or support requests you send us directly

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Sharing

We do not share personal information with third parties, except:

• With Google AdMob, to the extent necessary to serve and measure advertising, as described above
• With RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play Store, to the extent necessary to process and verify purchases, if applicable
• If required by law, or to protect our legal rights

Children’s Privacy

GeoScratch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Your Choices

• Ad personalization: You can limit ad tracking through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
• Local data: You can clear the App’s locally stored data (streaks, seen facts) by uninstalling the App from your device.
• Restore purchases: If applicable, you can restore prior purchases through the App’s restore purchases option, which communicates directly with the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
